Healthy and Savory Chicken Dinner

I was in the mood to create, so I came up with this recipe, I just created it as I went along.

Sometimes those are the best dinners ever and this one was just that!

This chicken and vegetable dinner was a winner with the whole family.

Even my 4 year old loved the chicken and we usually have to bribe her to eat any kind of meat!

All In One Meal - Family Style

I cooked this in my cast iron skillet. So easy to just put everything in the skillet and cook.

Prep time, quick. Cook time, quick too. Chow time, amazing. Clean up, a breeze!

This was a healthy and fun dinner to make. I hope you will recreate it, just use however much of each ingredient based on your liking. How much easier can that get?

Ingredients

  • Olive oil
  • Butter
  • Chicken tenders
  • Salt & pepper
  • Herbes de provence
  • Garlic - minced
  • Onion - chopped
  • Broccoli florets
  • Apples - diced
  • Honey

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 370 degrees.
  2. Drizzle olive oil in a skillet with butter and melt. Add chicken tenders.
  3. Drizzle a bit more of the olive oil over chicken tenders and season with salt & pepper and herbes de provence.
  4. Add garlic, about 3 small spoonfuls, spread over chicken. Add chopped onion, broccoli florets and diced apples.
  5. Drizzle honey over entire skillet of ingredients.
  6. Cover with foil.
  7. Bake until chicken is tender and juice is clear.

Serve and enjoy!
