Healthy and Savory Chicken Dinner
I was in the mood to create, so I came up with this recipe, I just created it as I went along.
Sometimes those are the best dinners ever and this one was just that!
This chicken and vegetable dinner was a winner with the whole family.
Even my 4 year old loved the chicken and we usually have to bribe her to eat any kind of meat!
All In One Meal - Family Style
I cooked this in my cast iron skillet. So easy to just put everything in the skillet and cook.
Prep time, quick. Cook time, quick too. Chow time, amazing. Clean up, a breeze!
This was a healthy and fun dinner to make. I hope you will recreate it, just use however much of each ingredient based on your liking. How much easier can that get?
Ingredients
- Olive oil
- Butter
- Chicken tenders
- Salt & pepper
- Herbes de provence
- Garlic - minced
- Onion - chopped
- Broccoli florets
- Apples - diced
- Honey
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 370 degrees.
- Drizzle olive oil in a skillet with butter and melt. Add chicken tenders.
- Drizzle a bit more of the olive oil over chicken tenders and season with salt & pepper and herbes de provence.
- Add garlic, about 3 small spoonfuls, spread over chicken. Add chopped onion, broccoli florets and diced apples.
- Drizzle honey over entire skillet of ingredients.
- Cover with foil.
- Bake until chicken is tender and juice is clear.
Serve and enjoy!
